ICE FISHING
Pinantan Lake ices over from November to mid April. Excellent family lake producing well throughout the season. Rainbows in the 1 lb. range are numerous and offer fast action on trolling and spinning gear. A good mayfly hatch is a bonus for the fly fishers.
Paul Lake Provincial Park ices over from November to mid April. Rainbows go to an average of 3-1/2 lbs. however trout in the 7 lb. range are not all that uncommon. Trolling is the most popular method of fishing, however fly fishermen are treated to an excellent spring Mayfly and Damselfly hatch.
