Shoreline: The lake has sharp drop-offs into deep water from a narrow littoral bench all along the shoreline. A flat back shore with cattails and bulrushes is found around the shoreline with the exception of a part of the southern shoreline which has patches of cattails and a steeper backshore. There is an extended marshy back shore at the southeast end of the lake. The riparian fringe behind the bulrushes, sedges and cattails consists of willows and some water birches.

Dogs: please keep your pets leashed to protect wildlife and habitat and pickup after them.
